World Technology Evaluation Center

WTEC is the nation's leading organization in conducting international technology assessments. During the 1990s, it was called the World Technology Evaluation Center (WTEC) Division of Loyola College. In 2001, WTEC was spun off into a separate non-profit corporation.

  • Learn about the current directions in Simulation-Based Engineering and Science (SBE&S)  from a panel of experts who have completed a study initiated by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and other U.S. Government agencies to examine the worldwide status and trends in this field. This  workshop was held  on April 25, 2008. More information.
  • A panel of experts have just completed a study initiated by the United States National Science Foundation (NSF) and other U.S. Government agencies to examine the worldwide status and trends in Catalysis by Nanostructured Materials. This workshop was held on November 29, 2007. More information.
  • A panel of experts have just completed an international assessment of the foremost labs in Europe on Rapid Vaccine Manufacturing. The panel's findings were presented at a workshop held at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Virginia, on March 30, 2007. The presentations from the workshop are available.
