ORGANIZATION

This chapter summarizes the overall results of the study. The later chapters, written by other committee members who are experts in the industry, discuss the major areas of displays. The primary method of gathering information and data was making personal visits to individual Japanese companies from September 30 to October 12, 1991. The panel members, along with observers who assisted them, are listed in Tables 1.1 and 1.2, respectively. The companies visited by the combined committee of panel members and observers are listed in Tables 1.3a, 1.3b and 1.3c. A trip report for each visit is included as Appendix B to this report.
