Canadian Government Focusing Research on R&D
Canada’s new conservative government is putting more into R&D according to Science Magazine. Government-funded research is being focused into four main broad areas: environment, natural resources and energy, health, and information technologies. There is a corporate emphasis, however, and this disturbs many in the educational sector.
